We have a 5-member board, including a Treasurer who has a degree in finance, but no prior experience in nonprofit treasury. We would like to request guidance and/or a "checklist" to ensure that we are properly documenting our finances and in compliance with GA and federal law to maintain our 501c3 status. (i.e. documenting & categorizing donations correctly, keeping record of the correct forms, a plan to ensure that we meet the 33% rule since most of our donations so far have been bootstrapped, and anything that we may blindly be overlooking when it comes to finance).
