Our Associate Director who has been handling the finances with the support of a bookkeeper is moving into the Executive Director role. We are looking for a volunteer to advise her through this call to be more familiar with:
-Managing nonprofit assets to maximize revenue (treasuries, stocks, bonds, money markets, etc)
-Budgeting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
-Project-based and grant budget creation and tracking.
-Understand IRS Form 990, Schedule A – public support test (33⅓ rule), Schedule B – major donor disclosures

Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation (our kids) to be champions for wildlife using art and education. We teach free classes to kids in public, private, and homeschooling environments using art activities to educate kids in K-8th grade about wildlife, including pollinators, the American Red Wolf (the most endangered wild animal in the US), bats, hellbenders, and more.
