Join Our Team: Use Your Design Talents to Build an Inclusive Community!
Our mission is to foster a deeply connected, supportive, and inclusive community for VSDB students, families, and staff. To achieve this, we need to build strong, accessible communication channels and a vibrant organizational identity. That is where you come in. We are seeking talented volunteer Graphic Designers to help us launch our foundational branding.
Breaking Down Barriers: Your accessible designs will ensure that all parents and guardians—including those who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired, deaf and blind, can actively participate in their child's education journey with professional branding to support the organization.
Fueling Student Success: High-quality graphics and promotional materials will elevate our fundraising campaigns, directly translating into classroom grants, student activities, and specialized resources that enrich the daily lives of VSDB students.
Creating a Vibrant School Culture: You will help us launch and promote unique community initiatives—such as accessible school spirit wear—that build immense pride, confidence, and a sense of unity among the students.
Here is what we have prepared for you:
Full Leadership Alignment & Buy-In: We have secured total organizational buy-in for this initiative. Our foundational roadmap has been fully presented to and supported by the school's leadership, including the VSDB Superintendent. You won't have to worry about shifting goalposts or internal delays; our leadership is enthusiastic, aligned, and ready to approve your work.
Governance and Infrastructure in Place: We have already completed the critical legal and organizational groundwork. Our Articles of Incorporation and formal bylaws are fully drafted, meaning you are partnering with a structured, stable organization that has a clear operational path forward.
Materials and Strategic Vision Gathered: We aren't waiting on content. We have already established our core strategic goals, mapped out our community communication needs, and even begun conceptualizing specialized community initiatives—like a dedicated line of accessible spirit wear. We have the foundational ideas and text ready; we just need your technical expertise to build the vehicle for them.
Once the project wraps up, our team is fully equipped to implement and maintain the outcomes immediately:
Seamless Hand-off: We are preparing to step right into the driver’s seat. The templates you design will be actively managed by our board to showcase our PTO.
Immediate Launch: The branding elements you create will be deployed immediately to launch our very first official PTO membership drive and community outreach campaign.
We have built the foundation—now we just need your talent to help us build the front door. You provide the creative spark, and we promise to provide a structured, organized, and deeply rewarding volunteer experience.
