We are seeking a CPA volunteer to help create a clear accounting framework for recording deposits, returns, and cup movements. The volunteer will develop example journal entries, provide QuickBooks setup guidance, and make recommendations on U.S. tax treatment. They will also produce templates and training materials. Specifics will be provided during volunteer interviews.

This guide will remove financial uncertainty for cafés, enabling wider adoption of reuse systems, reducing single-use waste, and helping Retrocycle scale regenerative, profitable practices by building the standardized financial infrastructure businesses need to switch to reusables.

Our team will collaborate closely with the volunteer, hold regular check-ins, review drafts, and prepare to adopt the finalized templates and guidance so cafés can implement them with confidence.
