We’re looking for a fantastic Web Builder to help bring our finished designs to life on our website. The design work and creative direction are already complete - this role focuses on execution and implementation within our existing site framework (Squarespace Dev).

You’ll work closely with our co-founders and creative team to ensure the visuals, structure, and functionality are set up cleanly, optimized for both mobile and desktop, and easy to update as we grow.
This project will directly support Retrocycle’s mission to make reuse easy, accessible, and mainstream across Colorado. Our website is the cornerstone of how we educate and engage communities - it’s where cafés, towns, and resorts learn how to join our borrow-and-return cup network and take action against single-use waste.

By helping us bring our completed designs to life online, you’ll be enabling thousands of Coloradans to discover how simple it can be to choose reuse. Your work will help local cafés reduce plastic waste, empower towns to launch circular systems, and inspire visitors to return reusables rather than throw them away.

Our site will be the launchpad for expanding statewide partnerships, attracting funders, and showing communities that reuse isn’t just possible - it’s already happening. Your contribution will have a lasting, visible impact on how Colorado moves toward a more circular, waste-free future.
We’ve set this project up for success by doing extensive groundwork in advance. Retrocycle’s design and content direction are already complete (Figma file to show) - our brand guidelines, copy, and visual assets are ready to implement, meaning our focus will be on clean, effective execution.

Once complete, the implemented site will serve as our primary hub for engaging cafés, towns, and resort partners across Colorado - helping scale a statewide reuse network.

Our team is organized and ready to make the most of this partnership - we’re prepared, responsive, and excited to collaborate with a skilled volunteer to bring this to life! (and we think fun!)

Organization Mission

Our mission is to reduce waste by harnessing the power of education, simplicity, and community. Our program draws inspiration from the German deposit system and a successful German reuse service provider that has played a key role in significantly reducing takeout waste. We recognize and celebrate the efforts of our global peers who have made great strides in advancing reuse, and we are proud to contribute to the collective learning that drives reuse solutions worldwide.
