Grant Proposal Review

Our nonprofit is searching for a grant writer or talented copywriter to assist our team in reviewing a grant proposal and making updates.

To implement this grant writing project, we'll need two meetings with a volunteer. In our first meeting, we will provide you with a copy and review the application draft with you. We'll align on expectations and agree on the project timeline. Next, you'll review our document track changes, checking for inconsistencies and continuity errors, and create a list of recommended changes to share with us. The project will conclude after up to two rounds of edits.

By providing recommendations on our grant proposal, you will play a vital role in advancing the mission of the Home of Record Project by helping us secure funding that directly supports veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your contributions will ensure that our grant applications are clear, compelling, and strategically aligned with funder priorities.

By assisting with the review, editing, and refinement of our grant proposal and budget, you will help increase our chances of funding success, allowing us to scale our housing programs, deepen service delivery, and expand our community impact. Your attention to detail and insights will support the financial sustainability and long-term growth of our organization—ensuring we can continue restoring stability and dignity to those who’ve served.
