Celebrating Board Transitions and What’s Ahead

This is a pivotal moment for Taproot. We’re building the next generation of pro bono service—a future where nonprofits, skilled volunteers, and companies connect more seamlessly than ever to solve real problems. It’s bold work that demands creativity, collaboration, and clear-eyed leadership.

That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Bryan Hancock, Naria Santa Lucia, and Holly Trotter to Taproot’s Board of Directors. Each brings incredible energy, experience, and commitment to helping nonprofits thrive in a fast-changing world. Together, they embody the cross-sector experience and innovation-forward mindset that will help guide Taproot into its next chapter.

Bryan Hancock, a Partner at McKinsey & Company and a leading researcher on talent and the workplace, brings deep insight into how organizations adapt, grow, and harness technology, including the implications of AI for people and performance.

Naria Santa Lucia, General Manager at Microsoft, leads global education and workforce initiatives that expand access to skilling and opportunity, with a focus on innovation, inclusion, and collaboration at scale.

Holly Trotter, a Tax Partner at PwC, draws on two decades of experience advising global financial institutions and advancing complex, high-impact partnerships across the corporate sector.

Their leadership comes at a significant time, as Taproot enters its next phase of growth, innovation, and impact.
